A new camera, part two

As promised here are the Cygnar and Skorne pictures, along with Helbrecht, who is going on Ebay today. Any interest in the Cygnar? I've been debating selling them, so if there is any real interest out there, please send me a note (by the way, it looks like I happened to take pictures of a light jack without highlighting... that will need to be fixed). I could be easily convinced to sell, especially with all the other stuff that needs to get painted. One note on the camera: I need to learn how to use it. I've been having a hard time taking pictures of red. The highlights almost don't show at all. The pictures of the skorne are a good example. These look great in person; these pictures, not so much. If you spot some obvious picture-taking error, please let me know. I could use the advise. Thanks, all.

Oh, one last inquiry: red or black for the cloak on Morghoul? I can't decide.

At last, a new camera...

Apparently cameras that aren't five years old take better pictures... Who knew? I should have some pictures up of the skorne I'm working on and a Cygnar army that might be heading towards Ebay in the not to distant future. The Black Orcs will be Ebayed soon, probably with the Grimgore you can see below. I really enjoyed painting the Aberration Prime, so much so a box or two of the Confrontation stuff I have may just rival the skorne for my paint brush's attention.

I've been painting lots (mostly Warmahordes), and I'll hopefully be able to take some pictures during this long, upcoming weekend. Just a quick post now though to let you know I have some painted (and lots of unpainted) stuff up for auction. You can check it out here:

Flesh Tearers Army... Finally

After much delay, here's the fully painted Flesh Tearers army. It'll be on Ebay shortly...

This is my Flesh Tearers Vulkan... The whole army is dripping with Meltas and Flamers. Maybe not the fluffiest, but from what I understand, the list plays well.






It's been a long, long time since my last post, but I've been painting enough. Mostly Warmachine stuff, inlcuding redoing some of those earlier-posted Cryx models. The Flesh Tearers need just a few more details. Then they're going on Ebay.

Some Newer Stuff

So much for no excuses last weekend. I don't believe I painted any, and I'm absolutely sure I didn't take any pictures. But I did take some pictures today, albeit of mostly older stuff (though newer than what I first posted). The Fantasy Orcs were all done about the same time. The Confrontation models are a little newer, the Biker Boss pretty recently (only 120 more Orks to go...), and finally, the Flesh Tearer Terminator is from my almost finished Flesh Tearers army. In fact, I painted up the final primed model, the Techmarine, yesterday, which means every model is painted and if it's not done now, just needs some detailing. I'm pretty ready to wrap up the Flesh Tearers project, if for no other reason, I've grown pretty tired of painting red. My hope is to have more pictures of the Flesh Tearers up soon.
