"Bring out the Gimp..."

Okay, well, not exactly a revelation, but I'm really working on improving the quality of the pictures I'm taking of my models. And, I'll admit I'm not the most savvy with with anything to do with photography, let alone an editing program. Still, I think I'm figuring out how to use the Gimp, freeware which had overwhelmed me the first time I tried to give it a go.

Having said that, I'm hoping these are slightly better pictures. Hopefully, I'll get some pictures up of the latest gator - the bullsnapper.

It's only been a year...

So, it's been a long time, but I've returned to painting. It's helped that to meet with Matt, the studio painter from Privateer Press, and a bunch other other guys to paint on more or less a weekly basis. Again, a big thanks to Matt for patiently answering questions and all the feedback.
Anyway, the I'm working on a Blindwater list of 35 points. Bloodly Barnabas is still a work in progress, as, if nothing else, his base is yet to be swamped. These gators have been big fun to paint. Got a couple of other projects in mind: Dark Eldar, Skaven, and Mantic Undead. Anyone out there have a preference?

I'll be updating much sooner than 1 year from now. It helps to have improved my picture taking some, even if only modestly.
